An instructor-led online course Utilizes a variety of instructional strategies to guide learners as a cohort toward a sophisticated and enduring understanding of a course and its applications. In-course mechanisms are provided for student reflection on course content and learning experience, for situating the learning in a personalized context, for monitoring student progress, for providing timely (if not rapid) instructor feedback, and for moderating student communications, problem solving, and collaborative work.
