Larry Ragan visited Alaska to check up on his son, a student in Anchorage, and to speak with us about the subject that is always on our minds here at eLearning: education as it is right now, and as it will be in the future. The COIL example set at Penn State has many educators and instructional designers excited, all around the globe, for how it has increased enrollment and innovated the shape and infrastructure of online education. Larry talks a little bit about what COIL has done to achieve its success, as well as how it plans to continue being successful as technology, and pedagogy, continue to evolve.

NOTE: Technical difficulties at the end of the video necessitated that we cut the recording short of the end of the QA session, for which I apologize.
