Great Discussions and Their Environs

Explore what makes a great discussion great. Everyone knows that “open ended” questions are better for students but what does that really mean and what’s the best way to put it into practice?

Implementing Field Trips in the Online Classroom

There’s no reason why learning has to take place in front of a computer. In this session we’ll look at ways that active learning can take place away from the computer.
