Self-Paced Programs for Faculty Development
UAF eCampus offers self-paced programs for teachers who need the extra flexibility.
Self-paced programs with UAF eCampus allow faculty to work through teaching and learning materials at their own pace and earn a certificate upon completion.
iTeach Online
iTeach Online offers foundational training in online course design. Through a series of 5 modules, faculty start to build a solid online course founded in current research and relevant learning experiences. Faculty who complete the self-paced version of iTeach Online are prepared to design and teach an online course, and are eligible for a Teachers Who Learn award, endorsed by the Provost’s Faculty Development Team.
*iTeach Online will open for self-paced participants on Monday, June 1.
LEGO: Learn and Go
LEGO invites faculty to put together their own learning program by selecting from our regular offerings, creating a course design plan, and meeting with an instructional designer to refine and reflect. Attend four Community Seminars in Teaching Learning events, use our template or create your own plan for applying your learning to course design, and then make an appointment to consult with an instructional designer. Faculty who complete LEGO are eligible for a Teachers Who Learn award, endorsed by the Provost’s Faculty Development Team.
